Favourite quotes

At the end of last year I put up the display of the calligraphy quote pieces I’d been working on for my company.

I’d asked colleagues to send me their favourite quotes, which I then composed in my calligraphy class for final display on the wall in the office.

Here are some quick pics:

Berlin

Back in May I went to Berlin and visited the brilliant Buchstaben Museum and the Bauhaus Archiv. Here are a few highlights…

Calligraphy

At the beginning of this year I started studying calligraphy again, and here are a few pictures of the pieces I worked on. The black and yellow piece was for a friend, and the blue, a series to go on a wall at work. I’ve yet to put this up on the wall – watch this space for the final installation.

New look!

I’ve been a little quiet this year, but that doesn’t mean things haven’t been happening – so over the next few weeks you will see more activity as I update the site with what I’ve been up to.
Also, I’ve updated the look, and we are now responsive for all devices.
Hope you like it!

I welcomed in the new year on Parliament Hill, and from east to west the whole of London erupted with fireworks.

Have an amazing 2014!

Jardin de la Connaissance in Quebec, designed by Berlin landscape architect Thilo Folkerts and Canadian artist Rodney LaTourelle.
Beautiful and upsetting at the same time.
Amazing nature. Poor books.

Thanks Dezeen.
